Today was a very busy day!
In the morning we needed to coat all of the flower vase akebi with varnish to protect it from unwanted insects.
Maybe we coated 400+ pieces of flower vases and we finished all before our 9:30am break time!
Noro-san and Akimoto-san were removing the extra varnish from the flower vases. (野呂さんと秋元さん.)
Precious (プレさん) also removing the extra varnish from the flower vases.
After taking out the extra varnish, we let the flower vases dry. Maybe tomorrow we will start packing them.
Last November 1, I was assigned to be Kamamoto’s assistant. So now we are working at the Jiggering Machine studio. He made beer cups and big dishes, he also asked me to put handles on the beer cups to make it different and new.

At 4pm we put charcoal at the 2 chamber kiln. We were only 4 girls! but we managed to finish everything!

The color of the flame changes when we put charcoal inside the kiln. They said that color is carbon monoxide from the charcoal.

After 5pm work, I started making the gallery’s order for Tokyo Tableware Festival.
I finished 60pcs/100pcs. I need to do 40pcs more tomorrow! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و

Here’s the final form of the kozuke. You can put pickles or soy sauce inside.
